BATF Type 3 Day Box
This BATF Type 3 Day Box is 48 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 15 inches tall.
Pictured in Red but all boxes are now Black.
CONSTRUCTION
- 12 gauge steel
- The two lock hoods are constructed of ¼” steel
- ½” plywood lining secured with non-sparking rivets
- Doors overlap sides by a minimum of 1”
- Removable Wheels: 2 - locking swivel & 2 non-swivel

Outside dimensions: 48”L x 17”W x 15”H , Built to meet BATF type 3 specifications (remove wheels) and as a day box for temporary storage and BATF type 2 indoor specifications. Made of 12 gauge steel with 1/4" steel around the locks. The 46M & 86M are lined with 1/2" plywood and fitted hasp for 2 pad locks. They come equipped with (Removable) 2 swivel casters and 2 straight casters to facilitate removal in the event for fire.
