Compact Solid-State Electronic Blasting Machine with Dual Initiation Capability
This compact and rugged, lightweight solid-state electronic capacitor discharge blasting machine is designed for both electric initiation and non-electric shock tube initiation. The unit is fully sealed, making it waterproof and resistant to dust, dirt, sand, and debris. Powered by a single 9V battery, it provides hundreds of charge/fire cycles. The battery loads easily through a waterproof side compartment with a tool-free, secure cap.
Electric Initiation
- Circuit Continuity Indicator (CCI): Allows operators to verify a complete circuit is attached to the output binding posts before initiation, using a secure signal and green LED indicator.
- Quick-Connect Binding Posts: Heavy-duty push-down binding posts ensure secure lead line attachment, even with gloves.
- Safety Features: Includes an automatic lockout unless fully charged, safe internal discharge if the charge switch is released, and a two-switch operation for firing.
- Energy & Capability: 225 VDC @ 4.0 Joules; supports electric blasting caps with a firing capacity of 135 Ohms circuits requiring a minimum of 1.5A.
Non-Electric Initiation
- Features a separate 2.5kV high-voltage circuit to create a pulse for non-electric shock tube initiation, ensuring system reliability.
- A guarded pushbutton switch activates this system.
- Includes a replaceable shock tube connector for easy maintenance.
