The VADUM Multi-Shot Robotic EOD Disrupter, known as the MRED, is a next-generation disruptor system designed to give EOD and Bomb Technicians maximum firepower, control, and efficiency during remote operations. EOD robots are expensive, mission-critical assets—and recoil is one of the biggest stressors they face. The MRED’s integrated recoil mitigation system minimizes impulse transfer to the robot chassis, protecting servo motors, sensors, and actuators while maintaining alignment for follow-up shots.
When paired with the VADUM Recoil Reduction Sled, the system achieves exceptional stability, even when delivering consecutive full-power shots. This low-recoil performance allows operators to fire more confidently in tight spaces, uneven terrain, or on delicate robot platforms.
Designed for both domestic and expeditionary use, the Multi-Shot Robotic EOD Disrupter is tested from –25 °F to +135 °F to ensure consistent performance in the harshest operational environments.
Its sealed components prevent dust and moisture intrusion, while the extended-life firing-pin system reduces maintenance cycles and improves overall reliability.
The optional high-pressure water-injection capability gives EOD teams the flexibility to conduct water-shot disruptions with minimal fragmentation—ideal for neutralizing sensitive or improvised detonators safely.
