The Warrior Assault Systems Quad Release Carrier is a compact carrier designed to allow a high and effective level of armor coverage, without compromising the operators movement. Use the 11x14 rifle plates for full coverage with the option of using 10x12 plates in the front only. There is no 10x12 retention in the rear.
At 6'5'' 312lbs I feel somewhat qualified to speak to what a perfect plate carrier for big guys would be. This plate fits me perfectly and is extremely comfortable. When it comes to finding the perfect plate carrier for big guys, there are certain features that one should look for. First and foremost, you want something with good shoulder straps that can be adjusted to fit your body size. Secondly, look for a plate carrier with a durable material that won’t tear or wear out easily. Additionally, make sure it has plenty of MOLLE webbing so you can customize the carrier with pouches and other gear as needed. Finally, if possible try to find a plate carrier with an adjustable cummerbund system so you have the ability to adjust the size of the vest while still maintaining the same level of comfort. With these features in mind, you'll be able to find a great plate carrier that is tailored specifically for big guys.
The QRC utilizes our quick release clips on the shoulders and sides for ease of access during daily use and for rapid removal when required.
The carrier has fully adjustable shoulders and is easily adjusted around the waist.
The QRC has been designed to be compatible with the full range of our detachable front panels. The attachment of weapon specific panels can be quickly achieved by simply unclipping the 2 vertical clips and tearing off the velcro panel on the front of the carrier, then replace with your desired detachable front panel.
The QRC is lined with 4mm 3D Spacer Mesh Fabric which allows air to circulate around the body for cooling, it also provides enhanced comfort particularly during prolonged periods of operation. The QRC is Rifle Plate and Level IIIA Soft armor compatible.
