Door Ram

The Full-Size Standard · 36 lb / 24 in · Breaches Most Doors in 1–2 Seconds

This is the Broco ENFORCER™ — the full-size door ram that breaches most residential doors within one to two seconds and forces open doors with as many as seven different bolts, locking systems, and chains. Every ram we carry is on this page, compared by the techs at EOD Gear, so your team picks right the first time.

ENFORCER™ rams are built around a simple idea: the ram should swing like your body wants to swing. The weight-forward design is thrown in front of the breacher to maximize impact from the hips and shoulders — overhand, underhand, or from the side, using a natural motion. Users find it's like swinging a baseball bat or throwing a punch.

The reach-through handle gives easy one-arm carry and keeps the breacher's weapon hand free. The fixed rear handle prevents the rear wrist from rolling on impact, while the rotating front handle maintains proper front wrist alignment through the whole arc of the swing — neutral wrist position, maximum striking impact, swing after swing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a door ram used for?

Mechanical forced entry: SWAT and patrol dynamic entries, EOD and military breaching, and fire/rescue access. A purpose-built breaching ram concentrates the energy of a full-body swing into a hardened strike edge — this one defeats most residential doors in one to two seconds, including doors secured with up to seven bolts, locking systems, and chains.

How heavy is the Enforcer door ram?

36 pounds at 24 inches — the full-size configuration. The weight-forward design throws that mass in front of the breacher so the hips and shoulders, not just the arms, drive the strike.

Full-size Door Ram or Small Door Ram — which one?

Same ENFORCER™ design, two sizes. This full-size 36 lb ram delivers maximum energy per strike for teams whose primary breach is the door. The Small Door Ram — the 25 lb, 16 in Baby ENFORCER™ — trades some mass for speed, one-man handling, and tight-space swings, while still hitting like larger traditional rams. Many teams stage both: full-size on the entry team, small in the patrol vehicle.

Why does handle design matter on a breaching ram?

Wrist position. The fixed rear handle stops the rear wrist rolling on impact; the rotating front handle keeps the front wrist aligned through the arc of the swing. Neutral wrists mean the energy goes into the door, not into the breacher's joints — swing after swing, callout after callout.

How does this compare to the Combination Strike Face Ram?

This Enforcer is a fixed chrome-carbide-edge ram optimized for pure breaching authority. The Combination Strike Face Door Ram swaps between an HDPE non-sparking face and a hardened steel face on one body — the pick when training environments or spark mitigation share duty with operational entries. Neither is the wrong answer; they solve different problems.
