CBRN Full Body Suit SPECS:
The lead equivalence of a sample (B) from RST was tested using the following equipment and procedure:
X-Ray Generator: GE MPH
X-Ray Tube: GE BE
kVp Meter: RadCal Accu-kv
Dosimeter: Fluke 10100AT TRIAD
The kVp accuracy was verified by a RadCal Accu-kv kVp meter. The transmission of the sample was measured with a Fluke 10100AT TRIAD dosimeter and a 150cc high sensitivity ion chamber. The lead equivalent thickness of the sample was calculated using Equation A.3 in NCRP report #147. The values of alpha, beta and gamma for lead at each kVp were taken from the same report.
