The Level II Breacher Blanket gives a specialized operator or entry team the protection needed to stand next to a door during an explosive breach. Multiple layers of DuPont™ Air-Entangled Kevlar® 129 ride inside a durable, fire-retardant coated polyester cover with hardwearing Cordura® strips top and bottom, and hard spars give the blanket rigidity when deployed.
Light enough for a single officer to carry and deploy, it folds for compact storage — and when things go wrong, the reinforced handle system converts it into an emergency litter with room for six carriers to move a casualty.

What is a breacher blanket?
A breacher blanket is a portable ballistic and fragmentation shield that allows an officer or entry team to stand next to a door while it is being explosively breached, reducing the time from opening to entry. It can also be draped over hazards or used to protect equipment.
What protection does this blanket provide?
The blanket combines fragmentation protection — a V50 of 450 m/s (1,476 FPS), with 17-grain FSP V50 tested at 1,738 FPS — with NIJ 0101.06 Type II ballistic protection, using a DuPont™ Air-Entangled Kevlar® 129 armor package.
Can it be used as a stretcher?
Yes. The reinforced ambidextrous handle system lets the blanket function as an emergency litter, with enough handles for six people to carry an injured teammate.
How big and how heavy is it?
The blanket measures 32 inches by 78 inches and weighs 15 pounds total, with a ballistic weight of 12.5 oz per square foot — light enough for a single officer to carry and deploy.
What is the warranty?
The ballistic panels are warranted for 60 months from the date of manufacture and the permanent cover for 36 months. The warranty is void if the carrier is abused or laundry instructions are not followed.
What is the lead time?
Current lead time is generally 60–90 days, ultimately depending on manufacturer material supply. All armor sales are non-refundable and final.
Can we add our unit identification?
Yes. The black cover includes a Velcro patch field in the middle for attaching a POLICE placard, badge, or unit identifier.
