One Course, Two Requirements Checked
Did you know the 8 Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Refresher counts as your HAZWOPER Refresher requirement? Supervisors don't need to sit through a separate worker-level refresher and then a supervisor refresher — this one course satisfies your annual refresher obligation at the supervisor level, which by definition covers the worker level beneath it. One 8-hour course a year keeps both boxes checked.
Prerequisite: You'll need the HAZWOPER Supervisor Initial first. Starting from scratch? The Refresher w/Wallet ID + Supervisor Initial package is $100 on our training portal.
What the Refresher Covers
- Updates to OSHA regulations and site safety practice
- Toxicology and hazard classification review
- Decontamination procedures
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) programs
- Emergency response procedures and supervisor responsibilities
- Recordkeeping and training documentation

For Companies: Monthly Billing & Branded Training Portals
Annual refreshers are exactly where corporate accounts earn their keep — the same crew needs the same course every year. Have ten or more employees?
- Monthly billing — employees enroll with no credit card and no reimbursement claim forms; your company is invoiced (or a card on file is charged) at the end of each month for that month's enrollments.
- Your own branded portal — we build a company training portal that mimics your website, with your logo.
- Admin control — your designated Corporate Administrator enrolls students, tracks who's current and who's due, and prints completion certificates, including past certificates.
- On-site delivery — in-person training is taught at EOD Gear in Franklin, TN, or at your location for a group of employees. Travel charges may apply.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Supervisor Refresher also count as my regular HAZWOPER Refresher?
Yes. The 8-Hour Supervisor Refresher satisfies your annual HAZWOPER refresher requirement at the supervisor level — you do not need to take a separate worker-level refresher in the same year.
How often do I need the Supervisor Refresher?
Annually. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(8) requires 8 hours of refresher training every year for supervisors and workers at hazardous waste operations.
What do I need before taking this course?
The 8-Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Initial, which itself requires worker-level HAZWOPER training (40-Hour or 24-Hour). If you're starting from scratch, discounted packages are available on our training portal.
What happens if my refresher lapses?
OSHA does not define a grace period. If your annual refresher lapses, complete it as soon as possible — and be aware that after an extended lapse, your employer may require repeating initial training. Don't let a $39.95 course be the reason you're pulled off a site.
How long does the course take?
The course covers 8 hours of material and is fully self-paced — complete it in one sitting or across multiple sessions; your progress is saved.
When do I get my certificate?
Immediately upon passing the final exam. You will receive your certificate via email so it can be saved to your files and/or printed for your records — and it can go straight into your company's OSHA training records. A Wallet ID Card version of the course is also available.
Can I keep my whole team current?
Yes — if you have ten or more employees who need training, set up a corporate account. Your designated admin enrolls employees (no credit cards, no reimbursement forms), tracks who's current, and prints certificates, and your company is billed monthly. We can build a branded training portal that mimics your company website. In-person delivery is available at EOD Gear in Franklin, TN, or at your location — travel charges may apply.
