The T.REX ARMS Speed Belt - Shooting Belt Outer is a 1.75" rigid outer duty belt for EOD technicians, public safety bomb squads, SWAT teams, and federal tactical elements who need magazines, medical, admin and holster mounts carried on the waist rather than on armor. Internal MOLLE pass-throughs keep pouches tight to the body instead of standing off the belt. EOD Gear supplies the Speed Belt for agency, unit, and department procurement.
This listing is the rigid outer belt only. The hook-backed inner belt is a separate item. We recommend ordering matching inner and outer sizes.
Why the Speed Belt
- Internal MOLLE pass-throughs. Unlike the external MOLLE on most modern belts, the webbing runs inside the belt, holding pouches closer to the body and preventing sag.
- Tegris composite core. Rigid enough to carry a loaded belt line, thin enough to stay comfortable, and lighter than steel or heavy polymer stiffeners.
- IR-reducing 500D Mil-Spec Cordura sleeve. Quick drying, easy to clean, and resistant to fading, abrasion, rot and mildew.
- About 1/4" thick. Thin enough that Tek-Lok and similar clamp-style mounts close properly on it.
- Hook-backed to mate with the inner belt and stay indexed through a shift.
- 7075 aluminum quick-release buckle, Raptor or Cobra, made in America.
- Made in the USA.
Sizing
These belts do not follow pants sizing. Measure before ordering. Using a soft tape or a length of cord, measure your beltline around your belt loops over the clothing you will wear with it. If you fall between sizes, round down. A 33.5" measurement takes a Medium.

Common Questions
Do I need the inner belt too?
For most users, yes. The outer belt is hook-backed and is designed to mate to a loop-faced inner belt worn through the trouser loops. The inner belt is ordered separately, in a matching size.
What size do I order?
Measure your beltline around your belt loops with a soft tape, over the clothing you will wear. Do not use your pants size. If you measure between two sizes, round down.
Is the Speed Belt Berry Compliant?
Yes. All sewn nylon goods manufactured by T.REX ARMS are Berry Compliant. Armor plates and plate sets are not covered.
Will Tek-Lok and Safariland mounts fit it?
Yes. The belt is approximately 1/4" thick, so Tek-Lok clamps, Safariland CUBL mounts and similar hardware close correctly on it.
