The T.REX ARMS Carbine Placard is a three-cell rifle magazine placard for EOD technicians, public safety bomb squads, SWAT teams, and federal tactical elements who need three rifle magazines on the front of a plate carrier without the bulk of a full chest rig. It mounts by QASM or swift clips, G-hooks, or the MOLLE Row Placard Interface, and converts to a standalone chest rig with the addition of a harness and back strap. EOD Gear supplies the Carbine Placard for agency, unit, and department procurement.
Why the Carbine Placard
- Three retention methods. Cells are loop-lined and accept Esstac KYWI 5.56 Tall inserts or the T.REX Individual Item Pouch Flap. Three pull tabs ship installed and can be removed.
- Three mounting methods. QASM and swift clips, G-hooks, or woven directly onto the MOLLE Row Placard Interface of the AC0 and AC1.5.
- MOLLE and loop on the front — six columns wide by five rows tall — for additional pouches, ID patches, or cummerbund attachment.
- Adjustable ride height. Velcro straps tune where the placard sits and widen carrier compatibility.
- Stabilizing hardware pass-through keeps the strap tight to the placard and resists tipping when the cells are loaded.
- Converts to a chest rig. The included Cordura backer plus three side loops for back strap placement make it a standalone rig with a harness.
- Made in the USA.

Common Questions
Which plate carriers will it mount to?
The 9" x 6" rear hook field and standard buckle spacing fit most loop-based plate carriers. It is optimized for the T.REX AC0 and AC1.5, where it can also weave directly onto the MOLLE Row Placard Interface with no hardware.
Can I run it as a standalone chest rig?
Yes. The included Cordura backer covers the hook field and three side loops give you back strap placement options. Add a harness and back strap and it works as a minimalist three-mag rig.
What magazines fit?
Three 5.56 STANAG or PMAG, or three 5.45x39 or 7.62x39 AK magazines, or six MP5 magazines at two per cell.
Is the Carbine Placard Berry Compliant?
Yes. All sewn nylon goods manufactured by T.REX ARMS are Berry Compliant. Armor plates and plate sets are not covered.
